    Hey everyone,

Most takes on the hard problem of consciousness fall into one of two camps: either someone’s trying to solve it (here’s the mechanism that produces experience) or to dissolve it (experience is basically an illusion, nothing extra to explain). I’m doing neither. I take the felt quality of experience as real — and instead of attacking the problem head-on, I follow what it implies.
