    Hey everyone,
Most of us chasing better cognitive performance go straight for the usual suspects: nootropics, dual n-back apps, exercise stacks, sleep hacks, etc. They can help a little.
But I’ve been experimenting with something completely different — and honestly, far more powerful.
Instead of trying to add something to the brain, this approach is about removing the massive hidden cognitive load that almost nobody talks about: the constant inner masks, self-deception, unprocessed shadows, and quiet inner contradictions we maintain every single day.
When you start living with radical authenticity and properly integrate those shadows, the internal friction drops dramatically. What you get back is real mental bandwidth — sharper thinking, faster insight, better memory access, and smoother problem-solving. It genuinely feels like an increase in effective IQ… without taking anything new or installing any fancy program.
There is training involved, but it’s an inner one: learning to sit with your thoughts without steering them, facing conditioned fears with brutal honesty, and living more in raw “suchness.”
I just wrote a full article about this alternative path if you’re curious:

A different way to reduce cognitive load and increase IQ

I’d love to open this up for real discussion:

Have any of you noticed a big jump in mental clarity or performance simply from becoming more honest or authentic with yourself?
Do you believe self-deception and inner conflict actually eat up significant cognitive resources?
Has shadow work or deep authenticity ever sharpened your thinking in a noticeable way?
Or do you think this is too idealistic and the real gains only come from supplements/training?

Skeptical takes, personal stories, or counter-arguments are all welcome. Let’s talk about it.
    Looking forward to your thoughts!
